The Macedon Fire Department recognizes the following membership types and status:

Status:

Restricted Active Membership is permitted for individuals who are 16, and 17 years of age with a valid NYS drivers license. Life status is awarded after 20 years of active service. Social status may be granted to any member with 5 or more years or active service. Special Membership is provided on a case by case basis for individuals who may be ineligible or unable to perform in any of the other segments of operation.
